I grew up in Milan and New York and currently live in Tel Aviv. I learned to paint at the Art Students League of New York, where I studied with Cornelia Foss, Terence Coyle, and more recently, Ricky Mujica. I also studied with Iliya Gefter in Tel Aviv, who was very influential to how I approach painting today. In 2021 I finally decided to start showing my work to the world.

My paintings are primarily done in oils with a limited six color palette, using a direct painting approach. I work 100% solvent free in my home studio using only non-toxic pigments. My subjects are always deeply personal. In the past two years I have focused on documenting my family. At the end of 2021 I have moved on to exploring disconnect among people. My current series focuses on beach scenes that would ordinarily be packed with people. I reinterpret the space to be sparsely populated to accentuate the emotional effect this imparts on the viewer.
