One-on-One Mentorship for Serious Painters
I’ve spent thirty years studying and making figurative oil paintings — in studios in New York, Milan, and Tel Aviv. I work within an atelier-influenced tradition that takes seeing seriously: values, edges, temperature, structure. I’ve been a consistent presence in some of the most rigorous online painting communities, where I’m known for direct, technically grounded feedback.
I offer mentorship and critique for painters who want honest, technically grounded feedback — not encouragement for its own sake.
Sessions are conducted live via Google Meet. During our time together I work directly on your painting in real time using Procreate on iPad, shared to your screen. You’ll see exactly how I think through a problem, not just hear me describe it.
TIER 1 Single Painting Critique — $45 A focused 30-minute live session. Send me photos of your painting in advance. We’ll go through it together — what’s working, what isn’t, and specifically why. Straightforward and honest.

TIER 2 Private Mentorship — $240 Four sessions of 60 minutes each, conducted at a pace that suits your schedule. We can work on a single painting across sessions or move between different problems — technique, materials, composition, color, subject matter, how you think about your work. This is the format for painters who want sustained, focused attention on their development.

A NOTE ON APPROACH I work from the conviction that most painting problems stem from having yet to learn to see like an artist. My goal in any session is to help you understand what you’re looking at, identify weaknesses, and self-assess — not to teach you to paint like me.
